Environmental Statements

For larger or more sensitive sites an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) may be necessary. ES Landscape Planning will provide an initial scoping report for submission to the Council and then prepare a Landscape and Visual chapter which will form part of the wider Environmental Statement (ES).

Working closely with our clients, and focused on the specific needs of their projects, our team of landscape architects seeks to ensure that development proposals can be accommodated within a site, aiming to find the balance between the client’s aspirations for the site and the capacity of the receiving environment.

Throughout the assessment, we identify avoidance, mitigation and enhancement measures to meet planning policies and relevant legislation to gain consent.
