Lower Nill Farm, Hook Norton

ES Landscape Planning were instructed by the owners of Lower Nill Farm to prepare a detailed landscape and visual assessment in relation to the proposed farm diversification scheme at the property which lies just outside the Cotswold Hills AONB. The scheme, which comprises several safari tents, a shepherd’s hut and associated auxiliary buildings, was located within an orchard next to one of Oxfordshire’s long distance footpaths.

ES Landscape Planning undertook a detailed LVIA, which included an assessment of the potential effects of the proposed glamping scheme upon the amenities and setting of the local public right of way network, in accordance with GLVIA3 to ensure a clear and objective appraisal of effects on landscape character and the receiving visual environment.
