Down Farm, Lamberhurst

ES Landscape Planning were instructed by Jarvis Homes Ltd to undertake an initial Landscape and Visual Appraisal of their site in Lamberhurst, Kent. The site is identified within the emerging Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC) Draft Local Plan as having capacity for residential development. The site lies within the High Weald AONB, near to the Scotney Castle Historic Parks and Gardens and adjacent to the Lamberhurst Conservation Area.

ES Landscape Planning were brought on board at an early stage to undertake a feasibility assessment to inform the emerging masterplan and ensure that a landscape-led approach to the proposals was adopted from the outset. ES Landscape Planning has worked closely with the project urban designers to ensure that a sympathetic and high quality development can be achieved, which responds positively to its AONB setting.
