Cornwood Farm, Stockton

ES Landscape Planning were instructed by North Common Property Holdings to assess the landscape and visual effects arising from the proposed redevelopment of the existing commercial site at Cornwood Farm. The site currently comprises a collection of workshops and commercial units and the proposals seek to improve the facilities and include the creation of several rural offices.

ES Landscape Planning worked closely with the project architects to ensure that the proposals respond positively to the site and localised landscape setting in terms of layout and appearance. ES Landscape Planning prepared a detailed LVIA and the landscape strategy for the scheme, which included a significant scheme of new planting, including creation of native woodland and wildflower grassland. The proposals present significant opportunities for Biodiversity Net Gain and informal recreation.
